About the Role

In this role, you will embody Do The Right Thing by protecting People, Assets, and Brands. You will work in an energized, fast paced environment focused on creating a safe environment for our employees, teams, and customers; this is critical to driving our Brand Power, Enduring Customer Relationships, and exuding our commitment to Team and Values. You’ll need to understand the big picture strategy and work with cross-functional teams and external partners.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure the security of the data center within the corporate headquarters, maintaining a secure and controlled environment.

  • Oversee access to the data center, verifying credentials and managing visitor logs to uphold strict access protocols.

  • Regularly inspect and monitor the data center for compliance with security standards, focusing on both physical and information security elements.

  • Conduct detailed patrols within and around the data center to maintain perimeter security and identify any potential security threats.

  • Operate advanced security systems, including surveillance cameras (CCTV), access controls, and incident response communication tools.

  • Act as a primary point of contact for data center employees, external IT personnel, and visitors, ensuring they adhere to strict security guidelines.

  • Respond quickly to all security incidents or emergencies within the data center, coordinating effectively with internal security teams and external emergency responders.

  • Implement and review emergency procedures specific to the data center’s operations and risks.

  • Maintain detailed records of security operations, incident logs, and access records.

  • Participate in ongoing security training sessions, ensuring skills and knowledge are up to date with the latest in data center security practices and technologies.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide high-level customer service with a focus on white-glove standards.

  • Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills, catering to a diverse clientele within the corporate environment.

  • Strong understanding and experience in access control, perimeter security, and surveillance systems.

  • Proven ability to make sound decisions in both crisis and non-crisis situations, maintaining calm and professionalism under stress.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing security needs and situations.

  • Deliver exceptional service while ensuring a secure and professional environment within the data center.

  • Manage inquiries and requests from data center staff and visitors with utmost professionalism.

  • Monitor and control access to the data center, ensuring all entries and exits are authorized and recorded.

  • Conduct regular security assessments to identify and mitigate risks, maintaining the integrity of the data center.

  • Respond effectively to emergencies, following protocols for a range of scenarios including technical failures, security breaches, and natural disasters.

  • Facilitate coordination during security incidents, ensuring seamless communication between all involved parties.

Who You Are

  • Hospitality: Experience in providing high-quality guest and visitor experiences in a corporate setting.

  • At least 3 years of experience in a security officer role, preferably in a corporate or high-security environment.

  • Familiarity with physical security, information security, and emergency response protocols.

  • Strong track record in delivering white-glove customer service in a security context.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including potentially weekends and holidays.

  • Must pass a comprehensive background check and meet all physical requirements of the role.

Hourly Range: $18.80 - $23.60 USD

Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
