Actalent Land Survey Project Manager in Rocky Hill, Connecticut

Description:

We are looking for a Land Survey Project Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing and managing land surveying projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with clients, team members, and stakeholders to ensure survey projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality and accuracy standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise land survey projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and provide regular updates on project status.

Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.

Lead a team of surveyors and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

Oversee the performance of fieldwork and office duties related to land surveying, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.

Responsible for Quality control review of field survey data, and preparation of survey documentation and drawings

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.

Prepare and review survey reports, maps, plats, and other documentation.

Utilize surveying software and technology to enhance project efficiency and accuracy.

Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.

Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Must Haves:

8+ years working as a land surveyor with project management expierence

Proficiency in surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson and GIS)

Strong understanding of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment
