Shoppers Service Seamstress in Rome, New York
We are seeking an experienced Seamstress to join our team. As a Seamstress, you will play a key role in fabricating and sewing garments with precision and attention to detail.Duties:- Fabricate and sew garments according to specifications- Perform alterations and repairs on various types of garments according to customer specifications- Perform garment construction tasks such as cutting, hemming, and attaching fasteners- Sew garments using a sewing machine, hand stitching techniques or other tools to complete sewing tasks- Sew buttons, zippers and other fasteners onto garments- Ensure the quality and accuracy of all alterations- Operate and maintain sewing machines and other tools- Maintain a clean and organized work areaSkills:- Experience as a Seamstress or Alterations Specialist- Experience with sewing machines and garment alteration techniques- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Sufficient knowledge of the English language
Minimum Salary: 17.00 Maximum Salary: 20.00 Salary Unit: Hourly
