Responsibilities
As a CNA on PCU you will perform patient care duties as well as general cleaning tasks.
Essential Duties:
Passes and picks up meal trays and provides additional nutritional support as needed.
Responsible for ADL (Activities of Daily Living) activities including turning or position change, bathing, grooming, linen changes, toileting and ambulation.
Observes vital signs and records intake and output. Reports any abnormal findings or changes in patient condition or mentation to the RN.
Responds to call lights/alarms and rounds on a regular basis to ensure patient needs are met.
Maintains patient and unit environment to ensure cleanliness and safety.
Shift: Casual Part-Time, Varied
Qualifications
License/Certifications:
State of Oregon CNA License
CNA registry in acute care required within one year of hire
American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers within 30 days of hire
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience:
- Six months recent experience as a licensed CNA I preferred
Pay Range
$18.74 - $25.77 /hour
