Roseburg is located on Interstate 5 in Southern Oregons scenic Douglas County. The community is nestled in a lush forested region known as the 100 Valleys of the Umpqua. Responsibilities
As an RNFA you will assist the surgeon with specific intraoperative procedures.
Essential Duties:
Assists surgeon with intraoperative procedures.
Performs patient assessments and creates plan for the provision of needs in the Recovery Room.
Handles and dissects tissues in collaboration with surgeon.
Clamps blood vessels, coagulates bleeding points, ligates vessels and other procedures in collaboration with surgeon.
Places drains as surgically indicated.
Shift: 6:45am - 5:15pm
Core Schedule: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri
Requires On Call with a 30 Minute Response Time
Qualifications
License/Certifications:
State of Oregon RN License
American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers within 30 days of hire
ACLS within 6 months of hire
CNOR
Experience:
- 5 years experience as an OR Nurse
Education:
- Graduate of a recognized RNFA program
Pay Range
$44.67 - $62.41 /hour
