Adecco US, Inc. Facilities Maintenance Tech in Round Rock, Texas

Our Client in Round Rock is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician.

Summary of Position

This position reports to the Facility Maintenance Manager and provides maintenance support for all facility infrastructure and selected production equipment. This is a first shift position 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday. Some weekend work is required per business needs.

Essential Functions and Duties

  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks on all facility infrastructure

  • Repair facility infrastructure and manufacturing equipment as required

  • Assist with day-to-day waste management activities (hazardous and non-hazardous wastes)

  • Perform minor carpentry tasks, wall repair and painting as directed

  • Assist with office relocations as directed

  • Keep all copy/scanning/fax centers neat, organized and stocked with paper and other supplies

  • Audit all areas of the facility (inside and out) and dispose of trash and debris as required to prevent excess

accumulation

  • Individual (Satisfaction, reply time, solved tickets, quality) stats must meet or go above requirements on a consistence basis

  • Maintain the kitchen/pantry areas as indicated below:

  • Empty trash as required preventing excess accumulation

  • In general, keep kitchen/pantry areas clean, neat, and organized. This includes floor, counter, microwave, refrigerator and sink cleanings

  • Work with food and beverage services to ensure areas are fully stocked with consumable product, and paper products/utensils

  • Ensure all work performed is competed in accordance with documented procedures

Non-essential functions and duties

  • Assist Production with equipment installation and relocation as needed

  • Support Meeting and Training events on-site

  • Other tasks as assigned by Facility Maintenance Manager

  • Other duties may be assigned, directed, or requested

Physical Attributes:

  • Observe and hear warning signs and signals within all areas of the company.

  • Lift 50lbs without restriction

  • Drive or learn to drive Power Industrial Trucks

  • Work on ladders, elevated platforms, and aerial lifts

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in a warehouse and office environment

  • The employee may occasionally be exposed to dust

  • Based on station assignment, the employee may be exposed to water, heat, cured resins, soap and disinfectants

  • The noise level in the work environment is consistently moderate

  • Will work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to adapt to frequent changes and rapid company growth

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
