Job Description

AbbVie is recruiting a Brand Analyst Specialty / Oncology to join the European Headquarter finance team, reporting to the Europe Brand Finance Lead.

By integrating AbbVie you will analyze Europe’s Area Specialty / Oncology financials across 5 LBUs and 3 Regions, with nearly $2.5 Billion Sales expected in Yr’24, in the exciting context of new indications’ launches.

You will also provide intuitive Brand related financial analysis, financial support and ensure strategic imperatives implemented in accordance with the company’s & Area’s goals by interacting with Brand Finance Managers, the Conso Team, the Area Controller, the Finance Director, and commercial counterparts.

Within this context, your principal responsibilities will be:

Brand Finance Activities (65% time allocation)

  • Support Brand Finance Manager for Planning Cycles (LBE, Plan, LRP)

  • Support for preparation & testing & conso of the models & related files (Plan, LRP, LBE – if any)

  • Active role on preparing monthly S&OP book

  • Take the responsibility of monthly reports for actual reporting

  • Work on Ad Hoc projects and tasks

Conso Activities (35% time allocation)

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Support during month-end close & S&OP/LBE the senior finance analyst in the team responsible for these tasks

  • Support the consolidation & analysis team during key planning cycles, i.e. July LBE, PLN & LRP: create templates, guidance, check & conso files, etc.

  • Provide support to LBUs mainly system-related or any other technical questions related to planning

  • Other responsibilities

  • Support the controller in the some activities in relation to planning: Post Exec reclasses and capital planning mainly

  • Power BI: Develop and implement Power Bi solutions & enhancements to the current dashboard

  • Pull the pricing dashboard on a monthly basis, and take care of pricing requests coming from some affiliates in terms of data

  • Ad-hoc requests: PPT financials update for Euromorning, etc.

Main stakeholders:

Brand finance managers, Area Business Unit Director, Area Market Access counterparts, Area controller, Global Marketing Finance.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should be a graduate holding a degree in B.A. in Business/Finance/Accounting; Masters/MBA is a plus.

You have a previous work experience of 2-3 years, ideally in the pharma industry. You have solid knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience in PowerBI and SAP BPC being a plus.

Additional skiils and abilities:

  • Strong commercial acumen prior experience working within large commercial organizations in a matrix environment

  • Ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders at different levels, and to meet timelines/deadlines of submissions in coordinating with stakeholders

  • Self-motivated with the energy and ability to take the initiative on relevant issues

  • Excellent leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills

The role is based in Rungis, Ile-de-France.
