Insight Global Fleet Coordinator in Sacramento, California

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a self-driven individual with strong communication skills. The Fleet Coordinator will work under the supervision of a Fleet Manager and will help ensure the company is following legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements related to transportation.

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

 1. Coordinate the scheduling of maintenance and repair of all fleet vehicles and equipment.

 2. Acts as liaison between District and maintenance providers to ensure repair needs are met on time, the schedule is followed, and completion of work.

 3. Communicate and provide those updates to District staff.

 4. Ensure fleet compliance with federal, state and local government laws and regulations.

 5. Process invoices with the accounting department and in the Maintenance system, ensuring all pertinent information and charges apply to the appropriate vehicle/equipment.

 6. Making sure payments are made in a timely manner for services rendered.

 7. Assist with in-service and decommission process of vehicles.

 8. Ensure that proper documentation is present and up to date in the vehicle file and proper documentation is submitted after the sale of surplus vehicles.

 9. Collecting and filing daily driver vehicle inspection reports.

 10. Tracks and coordinates warranty repairs and recalls for outside repairs for Fleet vehicles and equipment.

 11. Receives repair requests from operators and determines the appropriate outside vendor and/or mechanic to perform the necessary repairs.

 12. Review inspections write-ups, estimates and purchase orders.

 13. Follow-up and track missed or incomplete inspections.

 14. Review monthly reports on preventative services to ensure vehicles are in compliance with state and federal codes.

 15. Files Driver-Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR).

  1. Perform related duties as assigned.

Compensation: $28.00/hr to $30.00/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

 · Basic vehicle knowledge.

 · Vehicle maintenance requirements related to regulated and light duty unregulated vehicles.

 · Computer and software applications (Outlook, Microsoft, and Adobe) used for fleet management.

 · State, federal and local vehicle regulations and safety standards.

 · Diver-Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR)

 · Customer service skills.

Ability to:

 · Stay organized while handling multiple tasks.

 · Work collaboratively across multiple departments with different vendors.

 · Communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.

 · Work independently with little to no direction.

 · Effectively meet multiple deadlines.

 · Track and coordinate different repair requests on multiple vehicles.

 · Apply critical thinking skills to understand problems, analyze facts and anticipate results.

 · Maintain ongoing records for fleet assets.
