Position Description:

CGI is seeking a Project Management Analyst (PMA) to join our team in Sacramento, CA.

This position is located at our Sacramento, CA office with work performed at the client site in Sacramento, CA area. You will be required to be at the client’s site 2-3 days per week.

Provide operational assistance and support to the Northwest Business Unit and Project Managers.

Specifically, will support financial operations and help achieve efficiencies with tasks associated with project maintenance, forecasting, revenue recognition, invoicing, A/R maintenance, and SOX compliance.

Also provide ad-hoc reporting and support operational initiatives and tasks as needed.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

How you'll make an impact

• Provide financial costing and pricing support for Project Managers in support of sales efforts

• Support sales process by assisting Project Managers in creation of approval presentation decks

• Creation and maintenance of projects in CGI’s project accounting system

• Timesheet correction to facilitate accurate client invoicing

• Support project managers invoicing efforts during month end close

• Monitor and update A/R status

• Communicate and follow up with Project Managers about specific projects and their goals

• Generate invoices for clients based on services rendered and in coordination with the Project Manager

• Prepare written estimates for clients based on labor, software, support and other expenses

• Follow-up on client/project accounts receivable and accounts payable

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure our construction teams have the materials they need

• Communicate with Project Managers about AR payment delays and any other issues that must be communicated to clients

• Ad-hoc operational support

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

What you'll bring

Project Management Analyst - 4 to 6 years of experience

Administration, Accounting & Finance

Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Experience with Financial Enterprise Accounting System

Excellent communication skills

Advanced planning and organization skills

Resourceful and intuitive self-starter, able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting and able to multi-task

Ability to follow directions and take initiative when required

To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $44,900 - $74,100."
