The Boeing Company’s Information Technology and Data Analytics (IT&DA) Manufacturing and Quality Division is currently seeking an Information Technology Manager to join the team in Saint Charles, MO .
The selected manager will be supporting the Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) business unit. This manager will lead activities around 10 applications supporting the BDS Precision Engagement program. The manager will also lead activities and applications around Operations scheduling, planning, and reporting. The manager will work with business leadership, IT&DA Business Success Leaders (BSL), and internal IT&DA product teams to ensure the quality of delivered products and services meet standards and supports business objectives. The manager will develop and monitor metrics; identify and manage risks, issues, and opportunities; and execute program increment plans.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage staff to include recruiting, training, performance and compensation management, motivating, developing, and ensuring high performance and engagement
Establish partnerships and relationships with internal customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports
Develop and execute program and process plans, adhering to software quality and
compliance requirements
Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Forecast resource needs and make hiring decisions
Interact with senior management and business partners in support of business and
technical capability roadmaps
Provide technical direction and guidance
Ensure technical training is provided when and as needed
Monitor quality, identify root causes of quality problems, and develop methods for quality improvement
Recognize contributions of individuals and teams and provide recognition
Administer time and attendance functions including correct job number usage
Prepare production and department activity reports as necessary, and achieve established goals
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
5+ years of experience leading teams
5+ years of experience in information technology or technical support
3+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Active Secret clearance or higher
Experience in people management activities like recruitment or mentoring
Experience in customer interfacing responsibilities – understanding business requirements, laying out product solutions and roadmaps and handling critical issue resolutions
Experience in leading or implementing strategic initiatives
Experience in manufacturing and/or quality

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $123,250 – $166,750
