Greater Salida Recreation Corporation Golf Course Maintenance Crew in Salida, Colorado

Key Accountabilities:

The Golf Course Maintenance Worker is responsible for supporting the Golf Course Superintendent in all aspects of maintaining the Golf Course grounds and associated work areas. The ideal candidate will be motivated to learn new skills and will take pride in their contribution to the high quality of the Golf Course grounds. The Golf Course Maintenance Worker shall provide a welcoming experience for all members, guests, and associates.

Essential Requirements- (include but are not limited to): Maintain and cut grass on tee-boxes, fairways, roughs, fringes, and greens. Maintain bunkers. Assist with sodding and trimming. Use equipment such as walking and riding greens mowers, tee mowers, fairway mowers, rough mowers, rollers, bunker rakes, carts, push mowers and A variety of powered and non-powered hand tools. Observe all safety practices and protocols and adhere to all policies set forth by the Club. Other tasks related to the maintenance of the course and club house buildings as required. Able to work weekends and early morning shifts. (Will be off by 1-2 PM)

Shift - 40 hours per week

Wages: $18.00 - $22.00

Qualifications, Education and Experience: High School Degree or Equivalent preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Demands: Work tasks are performed predominantly outdoors and involve physical strength, endurance, and manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. Requires walking and standing for long periods of time. The duration of time will vary dependent on the specific task being accomplished. Must be able to exert and lift more than 50 lbs frequently and up to 25 lbs regularly. Must be able to work in varying temperatures and inclement weather.
