University of Utah Lab Technician in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
The Roy lab at the Moran Eye Center at University of Utah is seeking a Lab Technician. The lab is involved in research on the cell-type specific functions in the retina and how these functions are impaired in retinal diseases. We use a variety of genetic, physiological, imaging and computational tools, and animal models, to perform these studies. The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree and experience of at least 2 years working in a laboratory setting using techniques such as microscopy, immunohistochemistry, electrophysiology. There will be opportunities to gain research experience and learn new experimental techniques. Candidates from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
