Join the Division of Services for People with Disabilities as the Program Administrator II. The Program Administrator is responsible for executing the Division's strategic plan to educate,communicate,and support Division participants,providers,and families in seeking community-based integrated employment and community integration. This includes helping develop communication plans,strengthening existing community partnerships,assisting in provider transformation,and ensuring community integration for the individuals we serve. The Division of Services for People with Disabilities (DSPD) Administrator II will be responsible for managing the Community Inclusion Team,Employment, and working as a liaison with Social Security,Department of Workforce Services,and the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation. .  The primary responsibilities of this group include: emphasizing employment; developing and implementing Person-Centered Planning; and ensuring coordination between partner agencies to ensure the all service systems are supporting individuals with disabilities. 

Principal Duties

• Support the Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Settings rule compliance.  This is an ongoing project for DSPD. 
• Support and advise on the HCBS Settings Rule rEnhancement of opportunities for employment.  This includes developing service descriptions and implementation,and training staff,contracted providers,and sister agencies on the implementation processes.
• Oversee and manage technical assistance from the National Center on Advancing Person-Centered Planning and Systems (NCAPPS). 
• Oversee and manage technical assistance from the State Employment Leadership Network. 
• Participate in the development of Person Centered Support and Planning (PCSP) software. 
• Oversee and implement the philosophy of Person Centered Planning. 
• Oversee and implement the user training of the Person Centered Planning software.

The Ideal Candidate

• Has experience/knowledge with disabled individuals and programs
• Has working knowledge of applicable laws,rules,regulations and/or policies and procedures
• Has experience developing and/or implementing new policies/procedures/standards and/or rules/regulations
• Has knowledge of agency and community resources and services
• Has strong partnering skills to foster relationships with people and agencies
