We are currently seeking a Service Electrician! You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers.

Experienced Journeyman level electrician wanted! Journeyman is preferred, but 2-4 yrs apprentices will be considered. Both will be considered on experience. Must have an active State of Utah Apprentice License (Preferred) / State of Utah Journeyman License 1+ years' experience in the electrical trade (Preferred) Must have a valid driver's license. Demonstrable knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment Strong interpersonal

Requirements of the Apprentice & Journeyman Electrician

• 1+ years of commercial experience preferred.
• Utah State Licensed (Apprentice or Journeymen)
• Must be familiar with updated NEC codes.
• Must have all basic hand tools for electrical work.
• Experience installing electrical systems in a commercial and industrial environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Reliable transportation with a good work ethic
• Ability to pass a drug screen if needed.
• Will be required to be in an on-call rotation.
• Flexible schedule.

Essential functions

• Installs, repairs, replaces, modifies, and tests new and existing electrical circuits, systems, fixtures, panels, switches, breakers, and controls located in and near buildings and structures utilizing Journeyman level skills.
• Troubleshoots problem areas and inspects for defective equipment and faulty wiring.
• Installs, repairs, modifies and programs various types of electronic controlled equipment at a Journeyman level.
• Uses and maintains various types of hand and/or power tools.
• Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Performs periodic maintenance and inspection of electrical distribution components to prevent premature failure and/or outages.
• Solve problems independently.
• Maintain workflow schedule to ensure productivity objectives are met.
• Responsible for keeping and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Ensure that safety is paramount on all job sites.

Ability to operate and work out of aerial equipment

Job Types: Contract, Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift

• Overnight shift
