Robert Half Litigation Legal Secretary in San Antonio, Texas

Description

We are in search of a Litigation Legal Secretary to join our law firm based in San Antonio, Texas. The primary function of this role is to provide comprehensive secretarial support to our litigation attorneys, manage case deadlines and filings, prepare and organize legal documents, and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Provide secretarial support to litigation attorneys, ensuring efficient operation of the office

• Manage case deadlines and filings, maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Assist with trial preparation and research, sourcing and verifying important case intelligence

• Transcribe, prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents and communications, maintaining sensitivity to confidential documents and information

• Organize legal documents in the document management system, ensuring easy access and retrieval

• Maintain court docket and filings, preparing documents including appeals, motions, and petitions

• Schedule court hearings, depositions, and other proceedings, ensuring no conflicts in schedules

• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, answering phone calls and emails, taking notes/messages and redirecting calls and messages when appropriate

• Maintain attorney calendars, ensuring all appointments, meetings, and deadlines are accurately recorded and updated

• Utilize advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and document management software to accomplish routine tasks and maintain high standards of client service.

Requirements • Proficiency in Litigation, including filing and management

• Demonstrated experience with Calendaring

• Familiarity with e-Filing systems

• Ability to work in a fast-paced professional services environment

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and legal software

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to meet strict deadlines

• Prior experience in a similar role in the Professional Services industry is preferred.
