Our non-profit client is seeking an Accounting Specialist to enhance our finance team. We believe in aiding the community and fostering growth and positivity through our work.
Job Description:
We are searching for a precise and reliable Accounting Specialist to manage the full spectrum of our financial operations, from managing payables and receivables to generating financial reports. The successful candidate should be familiar with all accounting procedures and have a flair for numbers.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily financial transactions including expenses, receipts, and payroll.
Maintain and update record keeping of financial information and transactions.
Prepare and submit regular financial reports to higher management.
Assist in the preparation of annual budget.
Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations.
Monitor financial transactions and reports to ensure compliance with non-profit regulations.
Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or a relevant field.
Proven work experience as an Accounting Specialist or a similar role for at least 2 years.
A demonstrated understanding of non-profit accounting principles.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
Strong organizational and analytic skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
