About the Company:
Robert Half is seeking an energetic and dedicated Assistant Property Manager on behalf of our esteemed client, a leading company in the residential property management industry. Job Summary:
The Assistant Property Manager will support the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of a residential property portfolio. This role requires a highly organized, customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for property management.
Key Responsibilities:
Tenant Relations:
Assist in handling tenant inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
Help coordinate move-ins and move-outs, ensuring all processes are completed smoothly and efficiently.
Maintain positive relationships with tenants to ensure high satisfaction and retention rates.
Property Maintenance:
Schedule and oversee maintenance and repair work to ensure properties are well-maintained.
Conduct regular property inspections and document any issues or improvements needed.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
Leasing:
Assist with marketing and leasing efforts, including showing units to prospective tenants.
Prepare and process leasing applications, agreements, and renewals.
Monitor and manage lease expirations and coordinate renewals or terminations.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date property records, including tenant files, maintenance logs, and financial reports.
Assist in preparing budgets, financial reports, and other documentation as required by the Property Manager.
Handle general office duties, such as answering phones, managing emails, and filing documents.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to property management.
Assist in managing property insurance, safety protocols, and risk mitigation efforts.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in property management or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of property management software and MS Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and team members.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
