Aerotek Quality Inspector in San Diego, California

CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY within Quality Control skillset

1st shift - 7AM - 3:30PM with flexibility to start later.

Job Description:

  1. Conduct inspections of our lenses to ensure they meet the company's quality standards.

  2. Assemble products when required.

  3. Document inspection outcomes and maintain accurate records.

  4. Read and interpret mechanical drawings to understand product specifications.

  5. Collaborate with the team to address and resolve quality issues.

  6. Responsible for successfully completing outbound shipments for our webstore while working with our Quality Assurance Manager.

  7. Implement sample rate inspection to ensure product quality.

  8. Adhere to and promote our ISO9001 quality management system.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Knowledge of how to read and interpret mechanical drawings and tolerances.

  2. Past experience implementing sample rate inspection.

  3. Familiarity with ISO9001 quality management procedures.
