The Privacy team is responsible for operating a world class privacy program and building a world-class privacy user experience to the Airbnb community. Beyond maintaining compliance with global privacy laws, we strive to create user trust & differentiate the Airbnb brand with our privacy posture and practices.About you
Experienced product manager with 3-5 years of experience building and shipping products/features preferably in the data/compliance/privacy space.
Highly energetic, self-motivated, proactive, with creative and critical thinking capabilities.
Possesses a deep respect and passion for protecting people's data privacy.
Has a sense of urgency for and commitment to Airbnb's mission of belonging.
Hyper focused on stakeholder management and building strong relationships.

responsibilities:
Conduct user research on the perception of privacy for Airbnb users.
Assist in developing and implementing strategies for handling regulatory and privacy inquiries and investigations, supporting the team in effectively addressing and resolving such matters.
Build a product roadmap/backlog in working with aforementioned stakeholders for a given focus area - e.g. Data subject rights automation.
Write product requirements documents and feature specifications for a set of features that will be built out by the privacy engineering team.
Input on design, work in Figma with designers & content writers to provide comments and shape design of features you own. Self-design might also be required in some cases where we want to move fast.
Define metrics, be hands on & write SQL queries, and partner with Privacy Analytics to create visualizations/metrics/KPIs for your product area.
Maintain and report on status for the initiatives you will own and manage in various forums - starting from tech focused forums, to more privacy/risk focused ones.
Perform competitive research and analysis to understand what a world-class privacy user experience looks like in the product area you drive/own.
Create communications around feature launches to drive awareness and buzz.
Identify and mitigate potential risks that are flagged by other areas of the privacy team and cross-functional stakeholders by defining and delivering on engineering fixes/features/changes in partnership with Privacy engineering.
We are looking for people who have
3-5 years of prior Product management experience - Shipping features (from 0-1).
Excellent communicator - written, verbal, presentations (familiarity with Google slides and Keynote is a huge plus).
The ability to influence a diverse set of XFN stakeholders through data, product insight, and great relationships and rapport.
Knowledge & fluence with the following tools:
SQL, Superset, Tableau.
G-Suite - Google docs, slides, calendar, gmail
Slack for primary work communications.
Skills:i>
Zoom for meetings (remote environment)
JIRA and Asana for product backlog management
Knowledge and experience implementing privacy principles in complex technology ecosystems, esp. Data subject rights Automation.
Some knowledge of EU and US data privacy legislations, industry practice and how they impact business operations and product design, could identify the potential impact/risk to business according to external regulations change.
Bonus Points
Experience within the Diversity and Inclusion space.
4+ years of program or project management experience.
4+ years experience in privacy, compliance, security operations and program management, preferably in a global B2C technology company.
Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), or equivalent professional certification is not required, but preferred.
MA/MS Masters degree or equivalent
