Robert Half Collections Specialist in San Jose, California
Description
We have partnered with a client in San Jose who is seeking a Collections Specialist who can start immediately! This position is contract, looking to last anywhere from 3-6 months long with the possibility to convert.
Contacting individuals or businesses to collect outstanding debts through phone calls, emails, or letters.
Keeping track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts and ensure timely payments.
Negotiating payment plans or settlements with debtors to ensure recovery of owed funds.
Maintaining accurate records of all communication and transactions with debtors.
Providing customer service to debtors by answering questions and resolving any issues related to their accounts.
Preparing reports on the status of collections efforts, including success rates and outstanding debts.
Working with other departments, such as legal or accounting, to manage and resolve complex collection cases.
Handling and processing payments received from debtors.
Requirements
3 years relevant experience a plus
Experience in NetSuite preferred
