Power Integrations Staff Analog IC Design Engineer in San Jose, California
Provide technical responsibilities in the development of integrated circuits using CMOS/Bipolar analog/digital circuitry. Technical responsibilities include: analog and digital circuit design, simulation, layout supervision and verification, preparation of test plan for the test group, product characterization, bench to test correlation, bench evaluation both at the silicon level and at the applications level, and documentation. Job responsibilities involve the ability to communicate with all levels and other groups, and requires having good verbal and written communications skills. Engineer must be interested in learning, be a creative problem solver, innovate solutions, be adaptable, and accept criticism. REQUIREMENTS: Education: BSEE required – MSEE preferred with emphasis on Digital and Analog Integrated Circuit (IC) Design. Experience: MSEE or BSEE with minimum 8+ years in IC Design, Solid understanding of analog and digital design, Verilog, and familiarity with device physics.
Power Integrations is committed to building teams that drive innovation and therefore review a range of factors when determining compensation. The annual base pay range for this position is $129,000 - $190,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, qualifications and work location.
The range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position in California. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
