Oriental Bank Associate, Marketing (Invoicing) TEMPORARY in San Juan, Puerto Rico

The Associate, Marketing is responsible for supporting a wide variety of ongoing projects within the Marketing Department to assist and support coordination of marketing activities and administrative tasks. Position works hybrid based in San Juan, PR.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists in managing the accounting process for all Marketing department expenses, from receiving and processing invoices to producing reports to ensure marketing expenses are on track with budget.

  • Maintains supporting documents and files well organized.

  • Supports to coordinate events, collaborating in business and corporate communication activities.

  • Offer support in the administration of promotional campaigns, activations and cross sell initiatives.

  • Collaborates in preparation of reports as needed, and completes other administrative duties as assigned.

  • Assists in handling incoming inquiries including sponsorship, supplier, vendors, etc. facilitating information and coordinating meetings with respective department or bank personnel.

  • Supports in maintaining budgets, schedules and tracking expenses for all media campaigns and promotional materials for departmental reports.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, Communications or related fields required.

  • One (1) year of experience in accounts payable and/or marketing reporting required.

  • Minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.

  • Computer skills in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other business applications required.

  • Bilingual - Spanish and English (verbal and written) preferred.
