HBK’s parent company, Quanta Services, Inc., owns a 50% interest in a joint venture company, LUMA Energy, LLC. In 2020, the LUMA joint venture was selected to operate, maintain and modernize the approximately 18,000-mile electric transmission and distribution system in Puerto Rico. The LUMA team is developing opportunities on island for individuals looking to develop and continue careers in the electric utility industry. These opportunities include planning, permitting, engineering and management positions in the electric utility distribution, transmission, substation and renewables space.
