BeiGene Manager, Accounting - Consolidation & Reporting in San Mateo, California

We are looking for a Manager of Consolidations & Reporting to join our Corporate Accounting team. This position is highly visible throughout the organization and will deal with a broad range of accounting topics. As a valuable resource to the organization, you must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills. You must also have the ability to coordinate and manage projects, be proactive and deadline-focused, as well as highly organized.
Essential Functions of the job:
Month-end close and consolidation activities include the preparation of consolidation adjustments such as profit-in-inventory adjustment, monitoring of intercompany balancing, preparation of equity roll forward, statement of cash flow, and analytical analysis
Manage lease accounting process
Prepare support for the company's Annual Report (financial statements, footnotes, financial summaries, MD&A, etc.) and SEC filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy)
Research and resolve various accounting and SEC reporting issues and inquiries
Liaise with the external auditors and assist with completion of the annual audit and quarterly reviews
Analyze financial results and create management reports
Assist with internal control policies, procedures, and documentation
Assist with the research and implementation of new accounting standards

Qualifications:
Ability to disaggregate, analyze and reconcile consolidated financial data in an accurate and timely manner
Ability to work and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel across the organization
Strong organization skills with high level of attention to detail
Flexibility to handle conflicting priorities and work under strict deadlines
Strong knowledge of US GAAP
Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERPs (SAP/BPC preferred)
Strong analytical skills
4-6 years of related experience
Education Required: Bachelors degree in accounting, finance (or other related field)
