Description
We are offering an employment opportunity based in Santa Ana, California for a Collections Specialist. As part of our team, you will be primarily involved in the construction industry, handling high volume outbound calls and dealing directly with our suppliers and customers. This role is centered around meticulous attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct high volume outbound calls to customers and suppliers
• Review subcontractor payment statements and examine accounts receivables
• Review and reconcile invoices or combinations of invoices
• Maintain accurate record-keeping and swiftly resolve any discrepancies
• Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, demonstrating strong command of communication skills
• Multitask efficiently and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment
• Leverage experience in collections, particularly within the construction industry, to enhance job performance
• Handle accounts receivable, vendor invoices, and invoice issues and discrepancies
• Utilize skills in commercial and consumer collections.
Requirements • Proficiency in commercial and consumer collections
• Extensive knowledge and experience in credit collections
• Proficient in handling invoice issues and discrepancies
• Experience in reviewing and processing vendor invoices
• Strong understanding and experience with accounts receivable (AR)
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using various collections and accounting software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
