Job Description:

As a Junior Planner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our supply chain and production planning processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries promptly and efficiently, providing lead-time quotes, order status updates, and handling cancellation claims.

  • Assisting management in developing and executing departmental action plans to achieve long-term goals and objectives.

  • Identifying and notifying Customer Service when scheduled shipments cannot be achieved as planned, and attempting to negotiate new ship dates whenever possible.

  • Utilizing various tools to review and coordinate efforts required to support start and completion dates of components, subs, and top assemblies.

  • Alerting upper-level supervision of any unresolved capacity/material constraints that may impact the company's ability to meet customer's scheduled delivery requirements.

  • Processing timely release of shop orders in quantities that align with upper-level demand and inventory budget objectives.

  • Validating accuracy and completeness of shop order packet data, making necessary corrections before submitting to the shop floor.

  • Coordinating with interfacing departments to correct system data values affecting shop load, scheduling, and responding to part drawing releases and revisions.

  • Following prescribed operating practices associated with QCI (Quality Control Inspection), MEP (Manufacturing Execution Plan), and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).

  • Participating in production meetings, conferences, seminars, and presentations as directed by immediate or department head supervision.

  • Demonstrating excellent communication skills in a cross-functional workplace, effectively organizing manufacturing functions, delegating tasks, and reviewing performance to support efficient operations and foster a positive company culture.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

  • Degree in Supply Chain / Business or any related subject

  • 6+ months of experience (preferably in the aerospace industry, but not required)
