Description

The team you’ll lead provides critical, large-scale, and complex services for Apple. You will be responsible for reliably and efficiently deploying and supporting these services. You will work closely with cross-functional partners and customers to ensure we deliver the best-in-class services. You’ll provide direction to your team, help define roadmap across functional disciplines, and collaborate with key partners to offer robust and reliable services for Software Engineering within Apple. Passion for operational and engineering excellence is required. Additionally, a candidate must also have: - Ability to help grow and develop a team - Proven track record of consistent execution - Strong sense of ownership and accountability - Proactive, having a can-do attitude, and going above and beyond to solve problems - Data driven decision making - Experience of leading first-level managers

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 2-3 years of managing a SRE or a software engineering team

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Emphasis on SRE as an engineering discipline with a focus on reliably scaling and deploying distributed systems

  • Experience in supporting infrastructure and services

  • Demonstrate ability to set measurable goals and KPIs

  • Ability to work and influence across teams and organizations

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $192,700 and $351,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
