We are seeking a dynamic Program Manager to lead a large team of professionals and team leaders. This role involves managing medium to large-sized programs, overseeing strategic planning, presenting progress reports, and recommending solutions for program challenges. You will manage P&L, support contract negotiations, and liaise with customers. Additionally, you will oversee operational performance, manage multiple vendors, and ensure workforce accountability in organizational operations and customer projects. What You Will Do

  • Directs all program phases from inception through completion.

  • Interfaces with customers for project specifications to ensure successful completion.

  • Manages the contract lifecycle, cost, schedule and performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.

  • Coordinates the negotiation, proposals, business plans, budgets and contracts for programs.

  • Establishes cost focused performance targets and directs work to achieve these targets.

  • Leads medium to large or multiple small programs to ensure adherence to program plans, schedules, and budgets for programs under his/her responsibility.

  • Manages the P&L of the program to ensure profitability targets are met, and manages multiple vendors.

  • Develops milestones, program plans, schedules and budgets for programs to ensure that the organization's objectives are met.

  • Consolidates and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the program(s), and manages value-stream strategy and progress.

  • Monitors strategic planning efforts for medium and/or complex programs.

  • Demonstrates continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality.

  • Identifies and reacts to program problems and recommends solutions, such as allocation of resources, changing contractual specifications, and coordinating responses to customer action items.

  • Supports the development of new business growth strategies.

  • Supports the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, including coordinating preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, operation budgets, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts to ensure legal compliance and to protect the organization's interests.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

  • Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English (verbal and written).

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
