Position Overview:
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy to facilitate organizational success related to clinical strategic goals and objectives in accordance with sound management principles, regulatory and accreditation standards, and the hospital's mission, vision, and values. Sets priorities and allocates resources to align with business objectives and annual plan. Develops and establishes the direction of policies and procedures and sets a structure for providing a safe and productive work environment. Establishes overall operating and capital budget with input from management team, ensuring financial targets are achieved and variances are addressed timely.

EDUCATION:
Doctorate: Graduation from accredited School of Pharmacy
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
PHARMD-Licensed Pharmacist
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
12 years recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of State, Federal and accrediting body regulations and standards, performs in accordance with them.
Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards.
Demonstrates credible leadership presence, with the ability to respond to questions with logic, clarity, calmness and authority; and the ability to motivate and engage others.
Interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver presentations to a variety of audiences.
Understanding of the budgetary process and familiarity with the healthcare financial environment.
Demonstrates effectiveness in achieving goals through individuals without having direct control of those resources.
Ability to build and establish effective working partnership with employees, peers and leaders to achieve business objectives.

Pay Range is $84.60 to $135.37 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
