Support Services Group LATAM Accounting Manager in Santiago, Dominican Republic

Support Services Group is looking for a LATAM Accounting Manager to join our team!

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting & finance operations withing the assigned team

• Ensure all accounting policies are applied to the assigned subsidiaries

• Manage all special projects and analysis as needed

• Recommend & establish new standard policy implementation

• Generate financial specific reports as management requires

• Perform all subsidiary financial reviews, following established controls/guidelines

• Ensure monthly book closing is done on a timely manner

• Review the company's COGS & Expense variations and provide detailed explanation

• Support FP&A with required reporting

• Design department distribution and role definition

• Support with audit required reporting

• Ensure A-team members stay in the company and improve C-team members performance

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Experience managing a group of over 2 personnel

• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills at all levels

• Advanced English is a requirement

• Excellent analytical skills

• Skills in internal financial reporting, application of accounting principles, and internal control

• Proficient MS Office, incl. Excel, PowerPoint, Access Exceptional knowledge of accounting and cost control

principles according to both US GAAP and IFRS.

• Hands-on experience transacting in multiple currencies required

• Oracle NetSuite Oneworld experience is a plus

• BPO background is a plus

• Must live in Santiago or the surrounding

Education and Experience:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

• 6+ years experience in Finance & Accounting

• 2+ years experience in a similar role.
