Amazon Product Manager, AVS in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Description

The BR Amazon Vendor Services team is looking for a Product Manager to own our AVS product roadmap and implementation, driving parity with WW AVS by obsessing over our vendors' satisfaction and enabling our internal teams to be more efficient.

This role will be in close contact with WW AVS PM peers to identify AVS exclusive products that address our current and future needs in a cost-effective and efficient way and will also lead product implementation for AVS in BR from the ground up.

The AVS product manager will work closely to Brand and Supply Chain Specialists, and Team Leads as well as our internal teams in order to get feedback on roadmap prioritization. They will also work closely to the finance team in order to guarantee defined budget for necessary tech investments.

This position is new; it will have senior leadership exposure and will need to be able to influence Retail stakeholders in all levels. The candidate will be required great business acumen as well as a high level of organization and prioritization day-to-day as we will be dealing with a fast-paced and continuously changing emerging marketplace.

They will be self-driven and motivated, as well as willing to build currently non-existent processes and mechanisms for the BR AVS Central and Business Teams.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own the vision and implementation of AVS internal and external exclusive tools and products;

  • Define implementation strategies while ensuring adoption from teams;

  • Leads working backwards documents for product release;

  • Identify mew and potential products to include in our roadmap, prioritizing according to budget and business drivers;

  • Leverage data analysis skills to research difficult or ambiguous problems, leading cross-disciplinary teams where necessary and communicating recommendations to senior leadership.

About the team

The Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) Central Team is formed by other fellow PMs who work exclusively to operate AVS in the best at Amazon level, driving operational program excellence, defining strategy and deliverables, and enabling business teams to grow sustainably. We each look over different workstreams and aspects of the Program, with main objectives of driving improved vendor satisfaction, internal people development and business growth.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization

  • Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services

  • Experience in balancing conflicting priorities dealing with ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing operational processes and technologies

  • Experience performing financial or other quantitative analyses
