Description
Are you a data-driven professional with a passion for turning complex financial information into actionable insights? Robert Half is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our growing team. As part of our finance department, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving strategic decision-making and supporting our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze financial data, trends, and performance to develop actionable insights for management.
Prepare accurate financial reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual planning purposes.
Build and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
Evaluate key performance indicators to monitor and enhance business operations.
Collaborate across departments to develop budgets, streamline processes, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Conduct variance analyses comparing actual results to budgeted figures and propose corrective action where necessary.
Provide recommendations based on financial analysis to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
Support investment and business case evaluation initiatives, including risk assessments and ROI analyses.
Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and industry factors affecting the company’s financial outlook.
Assist with presentations and reporting for leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
3+ years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, or a related role.
Strong proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., financial formulas, modeling).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret and present complex financial information.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey insights to non-financial stakeholders.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI (preferred).
Knowledge of GAAP and other applicable financial regulations (preferred).
