Salal Credit Union Associate Business Officer in Seattle, Washington

Salal Credit Union *is looking to add an *Associate Business Officer to our high-performing Business Services team! Our ABO team provides support to the Business Banking Sales officers and to our members to effectively sell the credit union's business services deposit accounts to existing and prospective business members and support all business products and services. This team strives to provide superior service to business members before, during, and after onboarding.

This team works in a *remote *setting, there may be some opportunities to visit our members in person, travel for conference events, or work from our Seattle Headquarters office. Eligible candidates may work from the following states: AZ, CA, CT, FL, GA, ID, MO, MT, NC, OK, OR, TN, TX, WA, WI, or WY.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary range for this role is $36.16-$50.62 per hour. This represents the entire base salary range for this position. Most candidates can expect an offer between $41.25-$44.80 per hour depending on experience.

A day in the life of our Associate Business Officer includes:

  • Supporting the member onboarding process by preparing contracts and setting up documents, scheduling and tracking the implementation of services.
  • Training users through demonstrations of online banking, remote deposit capture, and merchant card services.
  • Performing operational duties, account opening, and maintenance for deposit account products and services.
  • Making sales calls, negotiating terms, training, and performing other duties as needed to service existing business members.
  • Attracting new business members to the Credit Union through various outreach channels.
  • Deepening and retaining a portfolio of members through effective pipeline management, including providing superior service, understanding business needs, and tailoring product and service offerings (deposit, credit, treasury management, etc.) to meet those needs.

Our ideal candidate would have:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales and service of financial institution products.
  • College degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Business Banking product knowledge is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Symitar core system is desirable.
  • Strong problem solving, organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
