As a step towards this vision, Blue Origin is building the next generation of lunar landers. In this role you will work as a avionics vehicle Integrator within the MK1 Lunar Lander vehicle integration team, focusing the hardware and software integration of key vehicle systems like Avionics System. You will lead avionics cross-functional test case studies, execute integrated analyses, verify and validate development tests to meet design specifications as well as defining interfaces that impact the design and integration of the spacecraft. Responsibilities: Contribute to or lead avionics focused system architecture studies, concept developments, verification planning, vehicle integration, and operations support Support avionics focused trades studies and supply knowledge to help down-select vehicle architectures appropriate for mission requirements Ensure coordination of avionics system changes and associated impacts across other subsystems, identify potential program risks and associated mitigations Conduct vehicle hardware-software integration tests in MK1 lunar lander Develop and maintain test scripts and automated testing tools Verify and validate vehicle level developments tests to meet design specifications Identify, document, troubleshoot vehicle test anomalies Test and verify vehicle functional testing, flight autonomy algorithms and software input/Output applications Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting hardware and software integration issues Communicate test results to stakeholders and prepare comprehensive test documentations and report Qualifications: B.S. in Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical subject area Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles and practices such as requirements definition, requirements traceability, functional decomposition, and verification and validation. Experience in hardware-software integration, particularly in avionics Knowledge of system integration methodologies and verification processes. Proficiency in programming languages and test automation tools Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic work environment Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion 8+ yearsof proven experience in hardware-software integration of deep space spacecraft Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum Desired (but not required): M.S. in Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or r
