Facilities Maintenance Technician
Overview:
· Pay: $28 to $34 an hour
· Location: Seattle, WA
· Direct Hire
Job Description:
Repair and maintenance: Carry out necessary repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
work.
· Safety compliance: Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and standards to maintain a safe environment
for all occupants.
· Equipment management: Maintain and repair building equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
· Emergency response: Be available for emergency repairs or issues that may arise outside of normal working hours.
· Vendor coordination: Coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance tasks and ensure their work meets the building’s standards.
· Record keeping: Keep detailed logs of all maintenance and repair work for future reference and budgeting purposes.
· Preventive measures: Implement preventive maintenance measures to avoid potential issues and ensure the longevity of the building’s systems and structures.
· Team collaboration: Work closely with the building management team to prioritize maintenance tasks and projects.
· Continual learning: Willing to train. Stay updated with the latest best practices in building maintenance and apply them as necessary.

Qualifications:
· Residential and/or commercial facilities maintenance experience
· General handyman skills, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work
· Ability to use various hand and power tools
· Must have a valid Driver License and clean driving record
Schedule:
Monday-Friday; day shift with flexible hours. Must be available for on-call work afterhours, and occasional overtime.
