PricewaterhouseCoopers Manager, Capital Markets Accounting (Multiple Positions) in Seattle, Washington

Manager, Capital Markets Accounting (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Seattle, WA. Advise clients on complex financial reporting issues around deals and other transformational events. Interact with senior company management teams, bankers, lawyers, and other advisers. Provide expertise on multiple complex accounting topics. Writing and communicating cogently to clients and industry audiences within a professional services environment. Managing a wide range of accounting and advisory-related projects. Pursue business development opportunities. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. Manage accounting and advisory project economics, workflow, budgets, billing, collections, and resource requirements.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $171,000/yr.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelors, progressive related work experience.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.

Certification(s) Required: U.S. CPA license or foreign equivalent, Enrolled Agent, or Member of the Bar.

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

  • Analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain a record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization;
  • Conducting interviews and meetings to determine compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, where applicable;
  • Understanding of technical accounting, financial reporting, and capital markets topics, including IPOs, debt offerings, private placements, carve-outs and/or spin-offs, Acquisitions, alliances/joint ventures, post-deal accounting, Restructurings, restatements, bankruptcies; and, GAAP conversions, change in accounting standards, accounting complexity; and
  • Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools.

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

Domestic and/or international travel up to 80% required.
