This job contributes to Starbucks success by supporting and implementing improvements related to Store Development supplier and item related processes. This role will drive continuous improvement of team operations to support the business goals of speed to market for both new construction and renovations.

As a manager, program management, you will…

Leverage your expertise and leadership in program management.

  • Working collaboratively with regional, sourcing, legal and support center teams, you will lead a team focused on contracting and onboarding Real Estate Brokers, Design Consultants, General Contractors and Regional Facility Suppliers.

  • Working collaboratively with concepts, sourcing, and support center teams, you will lead a team focused on global store development item lifecycle management.

  • Collaborate with cross functional and cross organizational teams to develop an integrated approach to item and supplier lifecycle management.

Be a servant leader.

  • Develop and deliver training of new programs and processes to all levels of the organization and provide expertise and decision making in problem solving situations.

  • Assist regional store development teams with resolution of procurement, invoice or supplier contract-related problems and obstacles, including resolution of legal issues. Train teams on policies and best practices.

  • Position the team to be the professional resource to all partners for supplier management and product design-to-order topics.

  • Lead a team of support partners who elevate craft and exceed the expectations of the partners we serve.

Lead and influence cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.

  • Collaborate with, grow, and develop the partners around you as you lead direct, indirect, internal, and external teams.

  • Leverage your team to consult and provide process input for other teams and business units.

  • Intake, organize & prioritize workstreams to achieve maximum impact of team resources

We’d _ love to hear from people who have:_

  • 5 years experience in real estate, design or construction industry

  • 5 years application of supplier or item management experience

  • 8 years application of industry-based project management methodologies and tools

  • 8 years managing complex large-scale business projects

  • 8 years building and mentoring teams

  • 8 years general business experience in large, matrixed organizations

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
