Amazon Product Marketing Manager in Seattle, Washington

Amazon’s growing Canada Marketplace Selling Partner Recruitment & Success team is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to make an impact on thousands of businesses in Canada. If you join the Canada Selling Partner Recruitment & Success team, you will help us build scalable online and offline programs aimed at recruiting and developing our Sellers. To be successful in this role you will need to thrive on ambiguity, be able to see the big picture and also execute on a tactical level. You’ll further develop a global mindset, and should be equally comfortable working with marketers, product managers, public relations, and teams ranging from finance to analytics.

The candidate has a history of achieving goals and should be an analytical thinker who thrives in fast-paced dynamic environments. The candidate is a strong communicator, effective listener and project manager who is able to balance multiple and often conflicting priorities. We are looking for someone who can create a set of successful channel strategies, roll out and analyze effective campaigns, and optimize performance over time.

This candidate needs to be comfortable working with complex challenges, appreciates autonomy, and understands the value of a rapid test-learn approach.

Experience in digital marketing is highly desired.

Key job responsibilities

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote products, services, and brands through digital channels to improve their visibility, ranking, and customer engagement. This includes identifying target audiences, developing content and messaging, optimizing digital assets such as websites, and using digital marketing tactics like search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC), email marketing, and social media advertising. You will work closely with Product Managers, Marketers, Sales, Finance, as well as Senior Business Leaders across CA and WW to define new initiatives and customer experiences, analyze the business and present your vision.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs

  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
