Blue Origin LLC Quality Specialist III- Incoming Inspection in Seattle, Washington

In this role, you will be directly supporting Supplier Quality/Receiving Inspection resolve opportunities revolving around supplier products such as documentation errors, hardware defects, and work order issues. This will require frequent and professional interactions with suppliers and internal stakeholders. As part of a diverse and hardworking team of specialists, you will share in the team's impact on all aspects of developing, testing and launching Space systems to support Blue Origin's Vision. Passion for our mission and vision is required! Qualifications: 5+ years of Quality assurance experience in production environment. Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9000 Quality Management System and/or related quality systems and programs. Experience in GD&T fundamentals. Experience with receiving inspection principles. Fluent in the use of precision hand tools, gages, optical comparator, and surface plate work. Familiar with the use of personal computers. Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Desired: Aerospace, space launch, or military or commercial aviation. Experience with Reviewing Supplier Documentation. Intermediate experience in providing oversight of receiving or dimensional inspection of aerospace components. Intermediate to advanced application of inspection concepts and tools Advanced blue print reading skills including GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard. Quality Management System audit experience. Quality performance measurement analysis capabilities. Six Sigma Green, Black Belt, or comparable certification.
