As part of a passionate and accomplished group, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team of configuration and data management analysts who support all aspects of Configuration Management for the Engines Business Unit. Your team will be responsible for identifying and controlling changes to baselines established by the Engines programs and for performing appropriate data analysis to support engine program execution and Customer delivery. Additionally, you will ensure that Engines is aligned with all company-level Configuration Management policies and will consistently work to refine requirements, processes, and tools throughout the lifecycle. Being a standout colleague is a must; you will collaborate across team interfaces to enforce rigorous configuration management and change control standards. In addition, you will work with the design and program management teams to implement projects that provide positive returns and lower the cost to access space. In this hands-on position, you'll work to increase the speed and efficiency of Engines programs by supporting the timely delivery, quality, and transparency of data to support program activity and business systems. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related technical or liberal arts field 8+ years of aerospace-related Configuration Management, Engineering, or operations experience on launch vehicles, spacecraft, or other highly regulated industry products 4+ years of managing direct reports and projects or programs. Experience in leadership, planning, and team development, in a fast-paced, accountable environment Strong communication and project management skills; able to coordinate, track, manage, and prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks. Excellent digital literacy with experience using a variety of management and planning software tools, including rapidly learning and applying new software tools, as required. Deep experience with world-class toolsets for configuration management in complex products Proven ability to develop and implement short-term and long-term strategies to realize results. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships within the organization. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Desired: Master's Degree (M.S., M.E.) or higher in Aerospace Engineering or related field Familiarity with launch vehicle or space vehicle design and operations Experience with change management tools and processes for embedded software-related product development Ability to excel, make decisions, lead, and implement solutions in ambiguous environments Involvement with test or launch operations Experience in a small company, startup, or growth transition environment
