Amazon Senior Security Consultant, Generative AI Innovation Center in Seattle, Washington

Description

As a Senior Security Architect of AWS Generative AI Innovation Center, you will have the opportunity to pioneer solutions for internal engagement security and to automate security operations for customers with responsible AI and to achieve unprecedented capability and agility.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities

You will work with teams of security experts, customers, partners and fellow Amazonians to design and deploy cutting-edge security infrastructure, automate security operations for our customers. You will drive internal offering development projects and become a deep technical resource that earns the trust of customer executive stakeholders. You will build high-quality technical content such as automation tools, reference architectures, and white papers to help our consultants, partners,

and customers build on the work we deliver. You will innovate on behalf of customers; translate your thoughts into action yielding measurable results

Additionally, you will collaborate with AWS service teams on new features and explore new challenges, using your technical knowledge and creativity to drive innovation.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software development with object oriented language experience

  • 3+ years of cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system experience

  • 7+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience

  • Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of professional or military experience

    • 2+ years experience with AI/ML projects and 2+ years experience with Generative AI
Preferred Qualifications

  • Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions such as WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, and SIEM

  • Experience in risk management methodology, approach and solutions

  • Understanding of global regulatory compliances such as GDPR, HIPAA and PCI-DSS

  • Understanding architectural implications of meeting industry standards such as ISO 27001, and NIST/DoD frameworks.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $122,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
