ManpowerGroup Sr. Accounts Receivable Coordinator in Seattle, Washington

Our client, is seeking a Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. As a Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be part of the department and supporting the team.

Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Seattle WA

What’s the Job?

  • Invoicing customers and preparing customer statements.

  • Generating weekly A/R aging reports.

  • Applying payments to customer accounts and posting daily deposits.

  • Tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues.

  • Initiating collections on past-due accounts.

  • Conducting account research and analysis.

  • Reconciling A/R to the General Ledger (G/L).

  • Preparing and maintaining various financial reports.

  • Assisting with month-end close processes.

  • Maintaining the Customer database and ensuring outdated or missing information is renewed/acquired.

  • Working on special projects as assigned.

  • Seeking and proposing opportunities to streamline existing Accounts Receivable procedures.

What’s Needed?

  • Customer service experience with technical communication proficiencies.

  • Proactive, articulate, with high attention to detail and organization.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and consistently seek opportunities for streamlining or process improvement.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Intermediate Excel skills.

  • Experience with ERP / CRM systems.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable with complex cash applications, preferably in the beverage or other consumer packaged goods industry.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related Business field preferred.
