Amazon Sr. Product Manager - Tech, Manage Your Experiments in Seattle, Washington

The Brand Experience team is looking for an entrepreneurial, customer-obsessed Product Manager to lead the Manage Your Experiments space. Manage Your Experiments takes the guess work out of content optimization by enabling brand owners to A/B test different versions of their detail page to measure which version drives higher sales and traffic.

In this role, a successful candidate will own the vision, roadmap, and business for one of the highest impact tools for brand owner selling partners. They must be able to work strategically to define a bold vision that drives growth for brand owners and helps maximize the learnings from each experiment conducted. The candidate will bring new products to market by defining the vision, requirements and technical roadmap for software and science teams and coordinate closely with partner teams. They will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while driving key detailed product decisions. They will have a mastery of all aspects of the product development process and experience making business decisions based on controlled experiments.

This role will focus on developing an ecosystem of valuable experiment types, tools, and features to help brand owners make smarter data driven decisions on Amazon.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Drive executive alignment on a vision and long term plan for brand owner experimentation on Amazon.

  • Develop a product roadmap and manage competing priorities to maximize impact across several software teams

  • Engage with brand owners to deeply understand their needs to develop customer obsessed products

  • Define, measure, and impact critical business metrics to achieve lofty goals

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree in math/statistics/engineering or other equivalent quantitative discipline

  • Proven leadership developing major, high impact products

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

  • Strong analytic and quantitative skills - ability to use data to make business decisions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master’s degree in engineering, math or related field

  • Experience and familiarity with Bayesian statistics

  • Proven track record of leading/building successful new products that have been taken from idea to massive scale

  • Advanced Excel

  • Proficient in SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
