F5, Inc. seeks Staff Accountant in Seattle, WA:

 

Job Duties: Review revenue transactions resolve discrepancies and work with management to develop processes, procedures, and controls necessary to book transactions appropriately. Work with foreign subsidiaries as it pertains to revenue-related matters, respond to various requests in a timely manner. Provide guidance on appropriate accounting for transactions affecting revenue to management, sales, and other stakeholders. Evaluation of customer contracts to identify potential revenue recognition impacts and working with stakeholders to mitigate risk. Monthly/Quarterly Functional Revenue Accounting Tasks. Prepare standard and complex journal entries. Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts and create monthly reports. Participate in the accounting close process, which includes preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements, related analysis, and ad hoc reporting for management. Perform analytics on revenue and related balances. Pull data and respond to auditor request. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to F5 Seattle office may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or closely related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word); (2) Salesforce; (3) OBIEE Reporting Tool; (4) Oracle RMCS; (5) Zuora; (6) Oracle EBS; (7) Blackline; (8) Reconciliation of balance sheets and income statements; (9) Technical accounting assessment and analysis; and (10) Understanding of SOX compliance framework. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to F5 Seattle office may be required.
