Insight Global Workday System Admin in Seattle, Washington

Job Description

* System Configuration: Configure and maintain Workday modules to align with organizational processes and requirements. This involves understanding business needs and translating them into system configurations within the Workday platform.

* Business Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization within the Workday system. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

* System Integration: Manage integrations between Workday and other internal or third-party systems. Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability by designing, developing, and maintaining integrations in accordance with industry best practices.

* Reporting and Analytics: Develop custom reports, dashboards, and analytics within Workday to provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Design and implement data visualization tools to facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization.

* User Support and Training: Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on Workday functionality, troubleshooting issues, and resolving system-related inquiries. Develop and deliver training materials and workshops to educate users on system usage and best practices.

* System Upgrades and Enhancements: Coordinate system upgrades and enhancements in collaboration with internal HRIS team.

* Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security controls, role-based access permissions, and data privacy measures within the Workday system.

* Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. Document change requests, issue resolutions, and system enhancements to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure institutional memory.

* Project Management: Participate in project planning, scoping, and execution activities related to Workday implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

* Vendor Management: Engage with Workday representatives and third-party vendors to escalate issues, request support, and provide feedback on product functionality and performance. Foster positive relationships to leverage vendor expertise and resources effectively.

Skills and Requirements

* Minimum 5 years of experience in HR/People System Administration

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related experience

* Proven experience as a Workday System Administrator or similar role.

* Strong understanding of Workday system functionalities, including Core HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Compensation, Benefits, and Talent Management.

* Experience in system configuration, security administration, and data management in Workday.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - comes from a previous education/medical company background null
