Robert Half Sr. Treasury Analyst in Seguin, Texas
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Treasury Analyst/Assistant Treasurer in SEGUIN, Texas. This role is vital in our organization, with responsibilities ranging from cash and risk management to financial reporting and compliance. The selected candidate will be a key player in our team, ensuring efficient and effective treasury operations and contributing to our financial strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor daily cash balances and forecast cash needs to ensure efficient liquidity management.
• Identify, assess, and develop strategies to mitigate financial risks such as interest rate, currency, and credit.
• Analyze capital markets and recommend strategies to optimize the company's capital structure.
• Prepare accurate and timely treasury reports, including cash flow forecasts, debt covenants, and other financial metrics.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with banking partners and other financial institutions.
• Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support strategic initiatives and decision-making processes.
• Continuously review and enhance treasury processes and procedures to streamline operations and enhance controls.
• Use Accounting Software Systems, Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, Management System, Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions.
• Oversee banking operations including cash activity and check processing.
• Handle customer credit inquiries and resolve issues accordingly. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)
• Familiarity with IBM AS/400
• Expertise in Management System
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Knowledge of Banking Operation
• Experience with Cash Activity
• Familiarity with Check Processing
• Knowledge of Credit management and assessment
