Position Overview

The Associate Marketing Project Manager is responsible for managing the overall execution of approved marketing projects, marshalling resources across the team to ensure that they meet the organizational goals and requirements. This position applies strategic project management, troubleshooting, and root-cause corrective action analysis to define, manage and execute project initiatives and drive improvements in key business processes. The primary role and responsibilities include the leadership, planning, development, organization, and maintenance of project timelines, resource planning, status updates, and managing financial activities related to defined projects and other duties as assigned. Projects can include product or other types of launches, technology projects, and other strategic initiatives.

This role will act as a liaison between marketing functions identifying key stakeholders, and ensuring alignment is being facilitated among process owners. This position will report to a senior project manager and requires wide ranging skills to remove obstacles and problems in the relentless pursuit of delivering quality programs and business growth. This person must build trusting relationships throughout the organization to allow for successful completion of goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and manages the planning, execution, and activation phases of new and ongoing projects across marketing functions.

  • Works with project leader to develop and manage project scope, project milestones and detailed project schedule.

  • Creates and maintains project dashboards for status communication to leadership per set cadence.

  • Anticipates and proactively communicates project issues to project leader and assists in developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.

  • Consults with appropriate staff to resolve issues; identify and minimize risks; develop contingency plans and identify opportunities to ensure projects are completed successfully.

  • Informs leadership of potential necessary changes to project plans in response to unforeseen or unexpected developments, coordinates changes with team members.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 3+ years of project management work experience, preferably in marketing

  • Quick learner, operates with sense of urgency

  • Disciplined, structured and logical approach to problem solving,

  • Demonstrated experience with process improvement and project management methodologies and tools, including Smart Sheet, Microsoft Project, and workflow management tools like Workfront

  • Ability to work effectively across functions to deliver results and execute multiple commitments within a Global Environment

  • Detail oriented with strong teamwork, collaboration and communication skills

  • Multitasking abilities to drive projects simultaneously

  • Resourcefulness, commitment, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to deal with uncertainty in fast paced environment

Preferred qualifications:

  • Aptitude for analytics and systems

  • Excellent MS PowerPoint skills

  • PMP certification

  • Six Sigma/Lean Certification

Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is 65000 - 85000 Pay ranges will vary and will be set in the applicable currency. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. Please speak with the recruiter for more details.
