Nike Specialist II, Retail Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Hub, GC in Shanghai, China

As the Visual Merchanting Specialist II for the Greater China Hub concept, responsible for assisting with the development of driving the concept visual merchandising strategy to elevate the consumer experience for an assigned. In this role, after getting the Global and aligned with the concept lead, you will build the product presentation directive from a professional perspective and share it with the city cluster team, help concept stores get better support, and provide a great shopping experience to consumers. Closely work with city cluster concept lead for feedback and quick response from function needs to drive concept excellence. This role will be responsible for driving the concept seasonal plan, CLC key project plan, and delivering tools, plans, and directive on time. In partnership with your extended team, you must be connected in the retail marketplace to understand consumer, marketplace, and retail trends and insights.

You will be a member of the concept VM team, to create inspirational and challenging goals and plans that drive growth for the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build VM direction through gender-wms/Men/kids journeys under the brand architecture through must-win/foundation stories, seasonal stories, 365 stories, and power franchises. Create the full vision of the seasonal product journey based on the assortment by concept.

  • Cooperation with the merchandising team for assortment strategy to achieve product presentation directive by seasonal.

  • Define clear working process with city cluster and X-functions to make sure work smoothly.

  • Define mannequins and styling strategies based on campaign needs to powerful brand seasonal story. Deliver seasonal campaign VM directive to city cluster.

  • Retail lab setup of the future to support the sharp of the season by driving innovative product and consumer experiences that power and serve city clusters.

  • Consumer insights and store re-set follow-up for brand architecture by concept.

  • To define strong styling ethos inclusive of identity and tone serving consumers through performance and lifestyle.

  • Work closely with the city cluster team to make sure the directive downloads by the concept for key doors.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Typically requires a 4-year college degree and a minimum of 5 years of directly relevant work experience.

  • Verbal communication skills and compelling presentation skills.

  • Typical office job with no special physical requirements

  • Some travel is required for market visits and select door opening setup.

  • Good command of written and oral.

  • Very sensitive to fashion trends and has a good aesthetic sense.
