The role of the IT Support Technician is to provide technical assistance, support, and advice to users. Troubleshooting desktop computers, applications, networking problems, communication devices & Video conferencing equipment. Communicate solutions and educate users of policy, procedure and best practices pertaining to information technology.

Your key responsibilities
This role will provide day to day IT support to users in ArtSci, servicing users deskside and remotely. The duties will include but not limited to:
End-users support including employee lifecycle, IT assets lifecycle, business applications support and business relationship management
Partner in project delivery, coordinate and implement IT projects and solutions to support business and production processes.
Coordinate and implement global IT governance functions, such as IT policies, security, IT architecture.
Response for IT compliance and security in scope
Installation, configuration, testing, updating, and troubleshooting for software or application in scope
Provide support and carry out IMACD services (Installation, Move, Add, Change and Disposal) for IT equipment in scope
Provide “last mile” support of IT services within service portfolios including Infrastructure, workplace and collaboration, security, and plant automation
Manage Incidents, Support Request and problems assigned to the team within defined SLA/OLA
Manage IT assets and inventory, track IT purchasing request, monitor delivery and coordinate finance payment
Manage local ERP system and application.
Ensure IT service activity logged and trackable in ticket system
Ensure facilities management moves, accountable for any stock management in the scope.

You bring
College degree or above in computer science, or relevant degree required
User focus oriented to keep the user satisfaction up to the mark
ITIL Process understanding
Good English communication
Full stack software development knowledge, ERP experience will be an advantage
More than 5 years’ experience for user support, good knowledge about PCs, Windows OS
Basic knowledge for servers, network equipment and datacentre infrastructure
Knowledge on Cisco or Aruba products is highly regarded.
