C.H. Robinson HR Specialist in Shanghai, United States

Join our Asia HR Service Delivery Team where you will be responsible for daily operational HR processes and provide support and service to our employees and managers regarding general HR-related inquiries in the APAC region. You will also participate various programs to optimize current processes and workflow to improve quality, efficiency, employee experience as well.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and timely processing of daily operational HR transactions in partnership with managers, including onboarding, promotion/salary adjustment, transfers, offboarding and ad-hoc transactions in the APAC region

  • Ensure all data transactions update into Workday from Job requisitions, hiring, onboarding, transfers, personal data changes, compensation changes and termination

  • Acts as the first point of contact for employees, managers for all general HR questions and handle queries, address solutions via internal case management system, making sure to generate a high level of employee satisfaction

  • Identifies opportunities for process and system improvement, recommends and initiates improvement activities with the aim to increase quality, efficiency, and service level standard

  • Develop and maintain Standard Process Procedure (SOP)in alignment with laws, regulations and best practice

  • Maintain compliance with labor laws and local regulations and recommend best practices to ensure compliance

  • Respond to employee verification requests, such as mortgage references, employment reference letter

  • Support talent acquisition operations as needed

  • Internal and external audit support including various reports and data analysis

  • Analyze HR data and building up report to share insights into business, workforce and HR activities

  • Assist in HR initiatives and HR related projects to ensure timely delivery

  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • Minimum 5 years HR experience and 3 years solid HR operation experiences with MNC

  • Experience with Workday

  • Good knowledge of Chinese labor laws and regulations

  • Demonstrated experience in leading process continuous improvement

  • Should be flexible to support operations on varied shifts

  • Good in written and oral in English

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
